How could that be possible? Simply put, things are less expensive in Costa Rica. So while the quality of construction of our homes and condos will exceed U.S. and European standards, material and labor costs will be noticeably less.
Fact is, most Americans haven’t put away nearly enough to see them through a comfortable retirement. And they’ve underestimated the amount of money they’ll need in their retirement years.
For anyone who’s been there, the answer would be “why not?” There’s a lot to love about Costa Rica.
